Lavhelesani R. Managa is a senior research specialist at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC), Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA). He is dedicated to conducting evidence-based research to enhance Africa’s inclusive growth and sustainable development.

Nicasius Achu Check is a Golden Key scholar, a chief research specialist, and Acting Director of Research in the Governance, Peace, and Security research programme of the HSRC’s Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA). He is also an extraordinary professor in the Faculty of Humanities at North-West University, South Africa.

Vuyo Mjimba is a chief research specialist for the Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA) in the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC).
